Suguaro cactus outside Tucson, Arizona. This is probably several hundred years old, and it is illegal to remove such flora without city permission. Actually it reminds me a bit of the statue created by Okamoto Taro for the 1970 Osaka Expo.

There is a wonderful cafe in Bluff, Utah, that probably was a house at one time. This is the view just outside the front porch.

A long with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, the Tasmanian Devil was a favorite cartoon character in our home when I grew up. Never thought I would find him tossed to the side of a dusty Arizona back-road. (If only he could speak.....) Of course, on TV Bugs often put "Taz" in such awkward positions: life ironically reflecting fantasy.
